Frequently asked questions
Where are you based?
We ship to my Aussie brothers and sisters from Archerfield, Qld. My family harvest the Shilajit near my hometown Namche Bazar located in Nepal at the gateway of Everest.
Why do you take pre-orders?
Every harvest is fresh off the mountain and we allow our customers to purchase the shilajit as it is sun-drying so that they get the freshest product possible.
Each batch is hand harvest and it is not bulk manufactured. So each harvest is limited quantities.
When will I get my order?
Pre-orders are open for each fresh harvest as it begins the sun drying process. Sun drying takes 3-4 weeks depending on the size of our harvest.
When sun drying is finished, we package and ship everything to our customers. You will be notified of the progress of the harvest.
What is shilajit?
Shilajit is a thick black resin that comes out of the Himalayan mountain's rocks, made from plants and minerals pressed by the mountains for thousands of years, used by our people for strength, energy, and healing.
How do i take the shilajit?
Pinch a small ball with your fingers (pea size ball) and swallow like a pill or put it in hot water and drink like a tea.
If you don't want to use your fingers, you can also use a clean knife or a spoon to scoop out the resin.
Why is my shilajit so hard?
Shilajit reacts to temperature, so in the cold it gets hard. We put it in aluminum tins because even on the Himalayas where it gets very cold, the Sherpa can use his hands to warm the tin or can use body heat and it will soften the resin so they can pinch it with their fingers.
Why are there white/brown spots in my shilajit?
Shilajit is naturally rich in minerals that make it through the Shodhana extraction process. Since our shilajit is not mass produced, this natural product may have some white/brown spots which are mineral deposits that are very good for you.
What does shilajit taste like?
It has a strong earthy, smoky taste from the mountains.
When should i feel the effects?
You will feel the energy boost from the very first time you take shilajit. You will feel a lot more of the benefits after 7 days of taking it daily. It is really good at regulating hormones, men will feel much more manly in all areas and women will feel less pains.
It will give you energy. Your mind will work better. You will connect with your inner self more. You will feel life changing things.
How long do i take Nepal Shilajit for?
Each tin should last 3 months, you can take it daily. It's a good idea to take a break for a few days or a week after 3 months use, the effects will not go away during the break.
How do I store my shilajit?
Keep the tin closed and in a cool, dry place. The resin lasts for up to 5 years without losing potency.
Can I mix shilajit with coffee or tea?
Yes, it dissolves easily in warm drinks like tea, milk, or coffee without losing its strength but it will give a strong taste.
How do I know it’s real?
- It should dissolve easily without leaving any residue.
- It should react to temperature very easily.
- It should have a strong earthy smell.
- It should be shiny.
- It should be very sticky when it is wet.
